The other night Leyton was having a rough night. I was walking him around the house and singing to him. I tried giving him his pacifier, I tried cuddling him with his blankie. Nothing I could do seemed to work to settle him down. He was just bummed out. Then Anna said, "let me try." No kidding, within minutes she had him completely settled and resting on her ready to fall asleep. I have always said that mothers just bring something different to the table for their sons than dads do. Here is a perfect example of it. He just needed his mom at that time. He needed that gentle touch and soft voice to calm him. Anna is a wonderful mom and Leyton loves his mommy time!
